Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our free, private PDF and image tools. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us.
1. Are my files safe? Do you store them?
Absolutely. All tools run entirely in your browser. When you select a file, it never leaves your computer. We have no servers, so we cannot access, store, or share your files. Your privacy is our core principle.
2. Do I need to create an account or sign up?
No, never. There is no signup, no email, no password. Just click a tool, select your file, and you’re done. We don’t want your personal data.
3. What is the maximum file size I can process?
Since files stay in your browser, the limit depends on your computer’s available memory. Generally, files up to 100MB work smoothly. For larger files, try splitting them first or ensure your device has enough RAM.
4. Which file formats are supported?
We support PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, DOCX (Microsoft Word), and XLSX (Microsoft Excel). For Word and Excel, we convert the content to PDF as accurately as possible (text and basic formatting).
5. Can I use these tools on my phone or tablet?
Yes! The site is fully responsive and works on any modern smartphone or tablet. The processing happens on your device, so it works just as well on mobile browsers.
6. Do you use cookies or track me?
No. We do not use cookies, web beacons, or any tracking technologies. We do not collect analytics or any personal information. Your usage is completely anonymous.
7. How accurate is the PDF to Word conversion?
PDF to Word extracts the raw text from the PDF and saves it as a simple .docx file. Complex layouts, images, tables, and formatting may not be preserved. It’s best for extracting content rather than maintaining original design.
8. Why does the “PDF to JPG” tool download a ZIP file?
Because a PDF can have many pages, we package all the generated JPG images into a single ZIP archive for easy download. You’ll need to unzip the file to access the individual images.
9. Can I password‑protect a PDF?
Yes, use the “Protect PDF” tool. You’ll be prompted to enter a password, and the output PDF will be encrypted with AES‑128. To remove a password, use the “Unlock PDF” tool (you must know the password).
10. Is there a limit on how many files I can process?
No limits whatsoever. All tools are completely free and unlimited. You can use them as often as you like, with any number of files (subject to your device’s memory).
